Opened in 2005, RAFP is a non-denominational, tax exempt 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. For nine years we were located within the Nativity of Our Lord Thrift Shop at 436 N. Brown Street. In 2014, we were able to purchase, modify, and move to the former Golden Harvest Market at 627 Coon Street. We are one block south of Lincoln Street, next to The Little Red Car Wash.
The RAFP relies almost exclusively on volunteers. The Pantry Coordinator and Associate Executive Director are both part-time positions and the only paid employees at the Pantry. Last year over 440 volunteers donated time and energy toward the success of the pantry.
